General Economy Exquisite Exchange (GEEE) is a campaign produced by the Cream Co. arts organization promoting an economy based on neighborly trade. GEEE currently operates in its second iteration at the Hyde Park Art Center through their Artist-in-Residency program. In the form of a Rooftop Tomato Garden, Post-Retail Shop, Trading Post, Seed Library and GEEEcycling Center, GEEE demonstrates how local abundance supports an economy open to more than just currency.
We would like to thank all Hyde Park, Kenwood, Chicagoland and international visitors who have participated in our exquisite art experiment.
